Marg is passionate about designing small achievable projects, perfect for gifts and suited to all skill levels.
“They allow me to mix and match fabric, add a few stitches, a piece of ribbon, felt flower or button and in a few hours turn them into a finished item. I’m addicted to the buzz that comes with starting a new project and the sense of satisfaction that follows when it’s finished.”
“Inspiration for my designs comes from my garden, fabrics and trims and often need; the need to make a gift for a birthday, Christmas or other special occasion. Many of my patterns have their origins in gifts made for family and friends.”
If Marg had to pick a favourite technique it would be felt appliqué closely followed by needle turn appliqué, stitching (simple embroidery), patchwork and paper piecing. The designs include combinations of these techniques.
Marg lives in the regional city, Albury, located on the Victorian-NSW border, Australia.
Marg sells her patterns, kits and other bits & pieces online and exhibits at various shows. Details of the shows can be found on her Blog, Facebook & Instagram.
